In general, yes, you can import drawings and animate them in AS, you can even combine this with vector stuff created in AS. So far, the only confirmed vector import paths are from Illustrator and Flash, both using the Illustrator 8 format. It seems that Inkscape writes EPS in a way AS doesn't understand. We had someone who tried to import EPS from Inkscape to AS with no luck. However, you always could design your character in whatever bitmap program you like, import this image to AS, and trace it by hand, using the AS tools which give you a result which is much better suited to get animated than anything imported.ġ. This can be done with Illustrator, but the quality of the results vary, and lots of information, like gradients, doesn't get converted.ĪS itself doesn't have any tracing abilities. If you want to use vectors, you'll need to convert this PNG to vector. But hey.if your just after a good looking sphere this is the program for you.2. Sorry to rain on your parade but thinking I might add this footnote for other builders like myself thus saving them time. This is a great generator to make spheres.not denying that.but for really technical mapping it's fairly inaccurate in "true to size" builds. Thinking it was my error I recounted the chart.three times.but still no joy. The sphere generated by this program seemed too big ( by quite a sizeable margin I might add). When building the sphere I noticed that the 2D sides did not meet up with my (triple checked) reference points mentioned above.
Markers were placed exactly 128 bocks up, down, left and right so it covers all X/Y/Z directions. Before I started I plotted out 6 points all starting out from the 0/0 axis in the end (which I removed all end stone). So I doubled the radius to 256 then generate a sphere based on that. Trying to create a sphere to encapsulate the spawnable area for hostile mobs (wiki: 128 radius from player).
